Bakery Lorraine is Heading to Austin

Posted By on Thu, Nov 16, 2017 at 12:37 PM

Bakery Lorraine can't stop and won't stop growing. Less than a month after announcing it would add a third San Antonio location, this time at The Rim, the city's beloved bake shop shared that it is opening an Austin location.

While the official opening date has yet to be set, a shop in Rock Rose at Domain NORTHSIDE is expected to open in fall 2018. The area is prized as a premiere shopping district, which seems fitting for the posh pastries.

It was only a matter of time until Bakery Lorraine expanded outside of Loop 1604. Sure, the shop is loved and adored here in San Antonio, but it is also nationally recognized.

“We’ve watched our Bakery Lorraine brand grow so quickly and receive so much local support in San Antonio, it’s been so exciting for us,” said owner and operator Charlie Biedenharn via press release. “We are thrilled to be opening our first ever Austin location at Rock Rose at Domain NORTHSIDE; this location is a perfect fit for our brand.”

The addition will feature classic pastries, but will also serve breakfast and lunch dishes.
