San Antonio's going in on this Francophile theme.

Lili de Paris is now open at 16350 Blanco Road inside the former home of Redbird Farmacy.

The small eatery is owned by the same folks who own C'est La Vie Bakery in Castle Hills and is billed as "the 1rst Real French Crepes in San Antonio."

Crepes are hard to come by in SA, to be sure. There's Crepelandia on weekends at The Pearl Farmers Market, CommonWealth features them for breakfast, Chocollazo serves sweet crepes on Saturdays and Le Frite serves a handful of crepes on their menu. But Taste Crepe floundered after a few years, and Cool Cafe closed its doors in 2012.

Regardless Lili de Paris features your choice of eight savory crepes made with gluten-free buckwheat flour ranging from $9 to $15, and white flour sweet crepes ranging from $6 to $9.

The restaurant is open 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed weekends.
