Thursday night's Latte Art Throwdown, a monthly event that pits local baristas against each other to see who has the most pouring prowess, will take over Shotgun Houser Roasters.

Sign up for the competition begins at 6 with the first pour at 7 p.m. when spectators and frothy-milk tulip buffs can take in the action. Coffee-art lovers will also get a chance to enjoy beer from Southerleigh and food from Fat Tummy Empanadas.

The Thursday Night Throwdown first launched in earnest in the Alamo City in October of 2015, and takes place at a different coffee shop across the city every month.
