Grayze on Grayson will give breakfast another shot starting Tuesday, September 4.

The most important meal of the day was offered when the eatery first opened their doors in early 2016, but that was long before they were joined by a slew of eateries on Grayson and several apartment complexes.

Breakfast will be served from 7 to 11 a.m. Tuesday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The weekday menu, created by chef Lionel "Butch" Blache, will feature items that are a "little less indulgent and more geared towards helping you start your workday off right," said partner Micah Harper via email.

But don't expect whole wheat toast and run of the mill oatmeal. Items include beignets; drop biscuits and gravy; a Hollidaze sandwich with a 4-ounce "The Cure" patty; and pancakes; along with Elvis bread, that takes manager Martin Baker's banana bread recipe and adds chocolate ganache, peanut butter cream and banana foster sauce. Other items include "wet" Grayze fries doused in house-made green chile sauce, melted cheese and topped with pork carnitas. Saturday's menu will also feature burgers and other lunch items.

Prices range from $4 to $15.  So many restaurants, so little time. Find out the latest San Antonio dining news with our Flavor Friday Newsletter.
