Manhattan-based Pokéworks, which opened in December of 2015 in NYC, will open its first San Antonio franchise sometime this October.

The La Cantera store, teased out earlier this summer, will open at 15900 La Cantera Pkwy., Suite 26180.

The San Antonio stores are part of 100+ signed development deals set to open in the next several years. "San Antonio is an ideal market to develop the Pokéworks concept in due to its strong demographics and urban setting, which represents vital elements key to our brand,” said Kevin Hsu, co-founder of Pokéworks. “We are excited to be able to bring the first Pokéworks location to San Antonio and are confident it will become a go-to spot for the community to enjoy healthy and delicious alternatives, while also feeling great about what they’re eating.”

The locations for the other two stores has not been shared yet. The shop will join Hula Poke, Poke Planet, Fugu Poke House and Koi Poke in providing poke salad options to San Antonio.
