If you missed your chance to meet Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro when he opened his San Antonio location of Carlo's Bakery earlier this year, you're in luck.

Valastro and his wife Lisa will make several appearances in the Alamo City this weekend at Buddy V's Ristorante at La Cantera. The pair will use their culinary star power to introduce a new menu at the family-inspired eatery.

On Thursday, the couple will host a dinner especially for military members. While all are welcome to dine, veterans who show military ID will receive 15 percent off their check. For every entree sold during the dinner, the restaurant will donate $5 to the Lackland Fischer House. Then, on Friday, November 30, at 9 p.m., Buddy and Lisa will focus on late-night desserts and cocktails.

For their last night in town, Saturday, December 1, the couple will host "An Evening with Buddy & Lisa" at 6:30 p.m. Guests will feast on the new menu's family recipes while the pair shares stories about each dish, which also will be paired with wines courtesy of Republic.

A portion of the dinner's proceeds will benefit Children's Hospital of San Antonio. The organizers also encourage attendees to bring new, unwrapped toys for donation to San Antonio Toys for Tots.
