Gourdough’s Public House, the Austin-based donut empire, will host a two-day “Big.Fat.Job Fair” this week as it prepares to open its first San Antonio location on the River Walk.

The job fair will take place at the new restaurant (215 Losoya Street) on Wednesday, January 23 and Thursday, January 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Gourdough’s is looking to fill restaurant management positions and hire new bartenders, servers, hosts, and bussers. More than 100 new jobs will need to be filled ahead of the opening.

Since its inception in 2009, Gourdough's has expanded from one mobile airstream trailer to multiple trailers and a brick-and-mortar on South Lamar Boulevard. The eatery offers unique brunch items such as the Mother Clucker — a donut sandwich filled with hand-battered fried chicken breasts and honey butter.

Industry professionals are invited to bring their resumes, learn more about Gourdough’s and submit applications in person. The job fair will feature a donut photo area, giveaways and music. Those unable to attend the event are invited to submit an online application here.
