MacArthur Fellow and host of NPR’s Radiolab, Jad Abumrad visits San Antonio for a free Mind Science Foundation lecture employing audio clips, still images, video and live sound manipulation to explore “the science, philosophy and art of uncertainty.” Prior to Abumrad’s presentation, the organization’s hour-long Brain Science Festival invites attendees to test smelling recognition skills, solve riddles and puzzles, and “see things that aren’t really there.” Free, festival at 5:30pm, lecture at 6:30pm, Q&A at 7:30pm Sun, Trinity University, Laurie Auditorium, 715 Stadium Drive, (210) 821-6094, mindscience.org. — BR
