The Taxi Driver, brings us a deranged loner who takes up a job as a New York cabbie. As he haunts the streets at night he begins to plot to assassinate a presidential candidate and clean the filthy streets of the city. he goes as far as recruiting a 12 year-old prostitute to return her suburban upbringing. This film stars Robert De Niro and Jodi Foster.
