Argentina's 'Chinese Tale' (Un cuento chino) screening this Friday

Sebastián Borensztein's Un cuento chino (A Chinese Tale), which won Argentina's Academy 2011 award for Best Picture, Actor, and Actress, will be screening at 7 p.m. Friday, January 27 at Instituto Cultural de México (600 Hemisfair Plaza). The movie, starred by Ricardo Darín (last seen in San Antonio in the Oscar-winning The Secret In Their Eyes), tells the story of the owner of a hardware store who ends up living with a Chinese immigrant in Buenos Aires. The problem: neither speaks each other's language. The comedy of errors gets complicated when a cow falls off the sky, but that's as much as we're going to give away. Spanish with English subtitles.

Admission is free, and you can park on S Durango or at the parking lot at S Alamo next to Beethoven Hall.
