Free Matinee Movies For Teachers At The Alamo Drafthouse

It's time to show appreciation for teachers who've basically dedicated their lives to educating America's youth. Alamo Drafthouse knows what's up this summer by offering free matinee showings from Monday through Thursday. The only requirement for teachers and staff is an ID or proof of employment at any San Antonio, New Braunfels and Laredo location.

Matinee shows (before 6 p.m.) are on that house, one per ID. That's an $8.25 value, which will really add up over time for movie buffs. So if you want to be the "cool" teacher who's current on pop culture, this is the promo for you.

This promotion, which started Monday, will last all summer long and end on August 20 when most major public schools start back up.
