While promoting her new film Hotel Transylvania 3, Selena Gomez was asked about the San Antonio Spurs, and it seems like she has no idea what's going on.
Gomez and co-star Andy Samberg sat down with Moviefone's Drew Taylor to promote the kid movie, but struck up a conversation about the Spurs since Taylor wore a jacket with the team's logo. The actress said her dad has the logo tattooed on his leg (don't all Spurs fan dads have that?).
Then Taylor asks Gomez what she thinks of the drama with Kawhi Leonard.
"It's hilarious," she starts. "I think – I don't know. I think it's so funny."
Taylor doesn't give up that easily though. "I think there's some bad blood there," he says.
Samberg notes that the drama comes out of nowhere, while Gomez turns to him and asks, "Between me and you?"
The guys then remind Gomez that they're talking about Leonard, and she nods. Samberg calls Leonard the backbone of the franchise to which Gomez says, "I personally loved Robinson and Duncan. It's very hard."
Many social media users regard Gomez as one of the Spurs' most notable fans, but it looks like she's out of the loop on the team happenings. Sure, she's busy being an actress, singer and one of the most followed people on Instagram, but it's pretty hard to not know what's going on with the Spurs these days.
