You've never seen a show quite like this.
Led by "Chief Executive Human" Samantha Martin, the Acro-Cats will be enchanting audiences at the Josephine Theater
in Tobin Hill, performing a total of five times between January 25 and 27. According to the
Facebook event page, the show includes two hours of cats playing instruments, jumping through hoops, riding skateboards, rolling on balls and much more.
Martin had the idea to create the Acro-Cats after her attempts to train her own adopted rescue cat to do multiple tricks were successful. With the use of clicker training, she's trained dozens more cats, who are able to complete astounding tasks and feats when prompted – usually. Cats are known for having their own agenda. Martin has described the event as "a comedy show with cats."
The event also supports the fostering, rescue, and adoption of cats.
General admission tickets start at $24 but more
purrimium options are available. Showtimes are Jan. 25 at 7 p.m., Jan. 26 at 3 p.m. followed by another showing at 7 p.m., and Jan. 27 at 1 p.m. then 5 p.m.
