The Laredo International Sister Cities Festival perfectly encapsulates the rich cultural tapestry of the city while putting the beauty of its heritage and international connections on display for all to see. During the three-day event, 200+ artisans from all over Mexico, Central and South America gather to showcase and sell authentic goods from their native city, including products like leather goods, home décor, hand-crafted items, clothing and more. The festival also features authentic Mexican eats (think traditional cuisine, yummy Mexican candies, etc.) and an array of cultural exhibits, some in the form of performing arts and others on display.
