2023 Summer Western Sci-Fi Film Series: Nope (2022)

Join in for a screening of Nope, a film by Jordan Peele (Key & Peele, Get Out). Released last year and described as a new-Western science fiction horror film.  A family that trains and handles horses for film and television productions has to wrangle something they have never encountered before. Enjoy this fun flick, popcorn, and beer. A short presentation discussing the elements of western films and emerging Black cinema will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed immediately by the film.
