Community Conversation: Teens and Remaking LGBTQ Identity
Based on interviews conducted at an LGBTQ youth drop-in center, Sociologist Mary Robertson wrote Growing up Queer: Kids and the Remaking of LGBTQ Identity. Aimed at youth and their families, this program, moderated by Robertson, recognizes the changing ways youth are identifying their genders and sexualities and the importance of support from family, friends and schools.
