Under the artistic direction of Marlana Doyle, HCDC aims to lead and innovate performing arts in the region by drawing upon the company’s long tradition of excellence, inclusiveness, diversity, and accessibility. Recognizing movement as an expression of our shared humanity, Houston Contemporary Dance seeks to ignite passion for the art form through a diverse curation of repertory that spans a full range of emotion, content, and physicality and by inspiring and uplifting its community and beyond through its education and outreach programs.
