NEW San Antonio Black History Bus Tour - Denver Heights

Join in Sunday, April 28, 2024 @ 12:30p.m. and 3:00p.m. for a bus tour of some of San Antonio's most historic African-American landmarks and locations! DENVER HEIGHTS is one of the city’s older and historically African-American neighborhoods. Although only about a dozen city blocks wide, Denver Heights in its prime was home to bustling intersections of small business, churches, a thriving arts and music community and charming residences. This experience is being brought to you by Melaneyes Media, the producers of "Walk on the River: A Black History of the Alamo City." Please arrive 30 min before the scheduled time.

This nightclub is one of the friendliest and oldest bars on the North Main Strip, and it's a reliably great spot to catch a drag show and dance the night away. There’s never a dull moment with karaoke nights, contests and DJs, but Pegasus doesn’t stop at offering San Antonio a great night out. They also regularly host fundraisers and benefits to give back to the community.
