The Chef Cooperative is back from its brief hiatus with an event benefitting Parr Vineyards. Held inside The Fig Tree's Dashiell House, the dinner will showcase 30 local farms and vendors in a seven-course dinner cooked by 13 of SA's top chefs and paired with spirits via Ranger Creek and Pedernales Cellars. Monday, January 12: Texas Monthly
food editor Pat Sharpe will moderate a discussion between author Bob Shacochis (The Woman Who Lost Her Soul
) and wife Barbara Petersen. Shacochis' book Domesticity: A Gastronomic Interpretation of Love
chronicles his relationship with Petersen. Recipes from the culinary memoir touted as "doting, curative, seductive" by The Washington Post
