Alamo Heights Restaurant Will Be Featured on Cooking Channel's Best Thing I Ever Ate


Cappy's Mustang Chicken will be featured in an episode of The Best Thing I Ever Ate on the Cooking Channel this November.

Titled "Upper Crust," the episode will showcase several beloved dishes as eaten by network personalities and other chefs including Chef Beau MacMillan's favorite pot pie in Phoenix, Arizona, Duff Goldman's seafood pie from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Jason Smith's favorite picture-perfect pork tenderloin boasts a clever crust that is sure to turn some heads.

Mustang Chicken has been one of Cappy's staple dishes for 30 years. It features a chicken breast with horseradish crust, mustang sauce, mashers, and chef vegetables.

The episode airs Thursday, November 1 at 9 p.m. Eastern/8 Central on Cooking Channel.
