The Craft Cruiser is about to set sail this summer and beer lovers will want to get on board. Launched by Dan and Jessica Ward, the business will offer brew-centric tours through the city's breweries on a weekly basis from Friday to Sunday. Friday tours are offered from 6 to 10:30 p.m. while weekend tours run 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The official debut will take place Friday, June 10 with the group leaving from Little Woodrow's (2535 Babcock Road), and brewery stops at Freetail, Branchline and Busted Sandal along with a bonus stop at The Growler Exchange. Beer drinkers can hop on for $85, and designated drivers can tag along for $65.
Ocho (1015 Navarro St.) and Shiner Beers invite guests to enjoy a Texas-focused dinner on Wednesday, May 25 at 7 p.m. The hotel's chefs will serve a special five-course menu on the second floor terrace highlighting local, seasonal ingredients and pairing said courses with brews from your favorite Spoetzel brewery.
