Beer Cruises, Farm Dinners and More

The Craft Cruiser is about to set sail this summer and beer lovers will want to get on board. Launched by Dan and Jessica Ward, the business will offer brew-centric tours through the city's breweries on a weekly basis from Friday to Sunday. Friday tours are offered from 6 to 10:30 p.m. while weekend tours run 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The official debut will take place Friday, June 10 with the group leaving from Little Woodrow's (2535 Babcock Road), and brewery stops at Freetail, Branchline and Busted Sandal along with a bonus stop at The Growler Exchange. Beer drinkers can hop on for $85, and designated drivers can tag along for $65.

Ocho (1015 Navarro St.) and Shiner Beers invite guests to enjoy a Texas-focused dinner on Wednesday, May 25 at 7 p.m. The hotel's chefs will serve a special five-course menu on the second floor terrace highlighting local, seasonal ingredients and pairing said courses with brews from your favorite Spoetzel brewery. Tickets are $80 per person (tax and gratuity included), and reservations are required at havanasanantonio.com or by calling (210) 222-2008.

Help your local farmer and enjoy a multi-course dinner with the Farmers for Gardens Feast benefiting Green Spaces Alliance of South Texas at My Father's Farm (1722 Steffens, Seguin) on Friday, May 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. Guests will nosh in style at a family-style dinner celebrating the local bounty of farmers, ranchers, local brewers and wineries at My Fathers Farm, a certified organic farm in Seguin, and the proceeds will benefit Green Spaces Alliance of South Texas. Enjoy a local family-style bounty with whole roasted South Texas Heritage Pork, Hudspeth goat and lamb and fresh, local and seasonal vegetables prepared by The Chef Cooperatives. The chef-driven menu will be complemented with drinks from Alamo Beer, Karbach Brewery, BS Brewing, Kuhlman Cellars, Blue Lotus Winery and Treaty Oak Distilling. Tickets are $55. Sometimes you need a little wine to unwind. Add yoga to the mix and make it an even better experience with the UnWINEd Yoga Happy Hour Series at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa (9800 Hyatt Resort Drive) every other Thursday through September 1. Punny name aside, you'll relax and enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature before retiring to the spa's serene back porch to enjoy rustic views of the Texas Hill Country while sipping a selection of Texas wines. Yoga class flows from 6:30-7:30 p.m., but UnWINEd guests can check into Windflower as early as 4 p.m. to enjoy the spa's amenities prior to the event including a selection of cheeses, crackers and crudité beginning at 6.
