This coming Sunday, July 3, more than 20 local celebrity chefs will donate their time and talent to fundraise for fellow culinarian Ana Martinez.
Chef Martinez, who's worked at Acenar and the Guenther House and volunteered as a cook at the Covenant Hills Women's Center, was badly injured in a car crash and has since been unable to work. Under the organizational forces of Biga's Bruce Auden and Perny Shea, Chefs for Chefs is uniting the SA food community in brunch to support Martinez's ongoing recovery.
For $100, guests can eat their way through a wonderland of edible delights at Rosario's, with food stations ranging including a Big Red and barbacoa spot. You can expect choices like king crab deviled eggs from Tre Trattoria, a smoothie station from La Gloria, and charcuterie boards from Cured among other tasty selections. There's music by Stephen Doctor for added ambiance, and coffee by Espresso Mio, mimosas, a bloody mary bar, margaritas and beer to wash wash it all down.
