The Anaheim, California-based franchise known as Churroholic has landed in San Antonio. The first of its kind in Texas, Churroholic launched in 2017 as an off-shoot to Hiccups, an Asian-fusion snack joint with wings, fries, boba and more.
The shop opened at 4135 S. New Braunfels in the McCreless Center Shopping Center.
Churroholic offers a blend hot coffee drinks, iced coffee and milk teas, blended coffee drinks, milk shakes and of course, churros. And while traditional churros are offered, Churroholic also features tricked out churros with glazes, in ice cream sandwich form, a la mode with an ice cream scoop and in sundae form with churro bites, one scoop of ice cream, whipped cream, caramel and chocolate drizzle, coconut flakes and toffee.
Prices vary from $3.95 for an OG churro to $8.50 for the sundae.
Lines have been steady since their opening on Monday afternoon, so make sure to go with your most patient friends.
Churroholic is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
