The frozen limeade is a new summer addition to Seersucker Distillery’s drink lineup. It features Southern Style Limeade Gin, fresh lime juice and Jack Rudy grenadine, and it’s topped with a maraschino cherry and a lime wedge.
The drink is a refreshing combination of sweet and tart, and is the adult version of the delicious cherry limeades you can buy at America’s favorite drink stop.
The Seersucker gin sets the drink apart from other frozen beverages. The limeade gin is made on-site and slowly infused with lime and mint, which contrast nicely with the cherry. The addition of the booze makes it a perfect drink to sip on during the Fourth of July. While it is only available at the Seersucker Distillery, it’s an easy drink to make at home as well. Grab a bottle of Seersucker from the store, throw a shot of it, grenadine, lime juice and ice into a blender, and you’re done!
Whatever your Fourth of July plans entail – whether it be drinking at the Seersucker Distillery just 20 minutes southeast of downtown San Antonio, sitting by the pool, floating the river or hosting a barbecue – make sure you are sipping on this cocktail of the week.
The frozen cherry limeade is available at the Seersucker Distillery throughout the summer. For those opting to make it at home, Seersucker Southern Style Limeade Gin can be purchased at local liquor stores and the Seersucker distillery.
