Get ready for a new spread of Fall-Winter inspired cocktails and local brews at The County Line Bar-B-Q (10101 IH-10 West). Created and inspired by bar manager Josh Tamez and assistant pit-master Garrett Stephens, the drinks pack in Texan flavors.
Tamez notes that their speciality cocktails will center on Texas spirits using drinks from Texas River Rye or Dripping Spring Vodka to highlight the flavors in their Apple Cobbler Texhattan and their ever popular bloody marys, known as big barbecue bloodys, which are accompanied by a single slice of brisket and of course, olives and celery.
The Just in Thyme which is doused with Waterloo gin, a homemade cranberry thyme syrup and pecan bitters, while the Red River rye Apple Cobbler Texhattan sweetened with sweet vermouth and frangelico and topped with cinnamon and apple bitters. However, if you aren't in the holiday spirit there are house favorites that remain on the menu just for your liking.
This particular County Line location has added 17 Texas-brewed beers to accompany the staples of it's already knock-out beer menu. New drafts include brews from Guadalupe Brewing Company, Texas Honey Ale, Devil's Backbone and Firemans #4 and so many more.
