Cullum's Attagirl Will Host Fantom Kitchen Pop-Up Featuring Freetail and Ghost Pixel Beers

Fantom Kitchen, a San Antonio-based pop-up kitchen launched by Harrison Civick of San Antonio Beer Magazine, will host its first official event at Cullum's Attagirl this coming Monday, April 9 from 6 to 10 p.m.

Fans of Freetail Brewing Co. will want to pencil the event in as it will feature the brewery's side project, Ghost Pixel Beer Studio, outside of its usual confines at 2000 S. Presa St. The pop-up will also feature food from chef Brienne Juanita Reboli, Freetail's newest addition to its brewpub location,who is an alumna of Johnson Wales University in Denver with more than 15 years in the biz.

The menu will feature appetizers, entrees and desserts ranging from $6-$12. Reboli's creations will include a squid ceviche; puff pastry filled with cream cheese, cilantro, lime and caramelized leeks; roasted chicken thighs with a cinnamon rub; beef roulade with chili rub and red onion; roasted beets with sautéed soy sugarsnap peas and honey-braised kale puree; sweet carrot soufflé with coffee crumble; and a trifle layered with white chocolate, pecan brownie crumble, malted milk butterscotch pudding, and Chantilly cream.

Freetail beers featured include Port barrel-aged La Muerta (whiskey Port cask-finished imperial stout); Ardent Rastard (Wild Turkey barrel-aged Old Ale with Brett Brux); and Guided by Abstraction (ale aged in wine barrels). Ghost Pixel will add the Ultra High Definition (dry-hopped pilsner) and Grenade Spam (double dry-hopped pale ale).
