In sad pre-holiday news, Gallo Pizzeria has rolled out its last ball of dough.
Owners Stephanie and Jeremiah McMillan had been struggling since last August and almost closed their doors in 2016 were it not for neighbors coming to their aid with a GoFundMe page. Though steadied by September of 2016, the McMillan's have pulled the plug permanently as of this Wednesday.
Gallo first opened in the city's Westside in 2011 and was known for their spicy ghost pepper pizza as well as their creative pie designs.
