St. Phillips College is sponsoring a Taste of Elegance Culinary Competition on the school campus Friday, February 11. Pork is the theme of the competition, and all chefs, food artists, or anyone with a scintillating, original, pork-based recipe is encouraged to come ham it up. Dine at Azuca, 713 South Alamo, on Valentine's Day for a special aphrodisiac menu. Chef Rene Fernandez's menu, designed for the romantically disposed, includes honey-glazed quail, salsa'd chili-dusted tuna steak, and "Casanova's Secret" for dessert.
