Juniper Tar Closes Its Doors ... For Now

It's a bar breather for Juniper Tar (244 W. Houston St.).

The lavish Downtown bar, which opened this past March, posted the following note to their Instagram account on Sunday. Hallowen night was their last night of service for the time being.

Hello Friends. Happy November!! The first seven months have been amazing for us. We thank everyone for the support and love. Some Juniper Tar news for y'all. We are going to take a quick timeout. Meaning we're closing doors for a few weeks to make some adjustments and tweaks (we love what we already have so no big, crazy changes). We expect to reopen before the end of the month. Will keep y'all updated. We're excited about the present and the future!! #SATX #junipertar #sacocktails #downtownsa
