Owner of Big Bob's Burgers Has Passed Away

Robert "Bob" Riddle, the owner of Big Bob's Burgers on Hildebrand, has passed away.

According to an employee of the restaurant who confirmed the news, Riddle died Friday morning.

Riddle first opened Big Bob's Burgers on Harry Wurzbach before relocating the beloved burger spot to Hildebrand and San Pedro. Riddle was a alumnus of the Culinary Institute of America-Hyde Park, and was the opening chef at San Remo Italian Ristorante in Castle Hills, before opening Podna's Catfish and Po'boys.
