Satiate Those 'Mamma Mia!' Cravings At These 5 Pita-Filled Eateries

Mamma Mia! It's here!  The award-winning production, written by Catherine Johnson and based off of the songs of ABBA, will bring the atmosphere and culture of Greece to San Antonio's Majestic Theatre Tuesday, June 9, and it will run through Sunday, June 14. The musical will likely leave the audience with a craving for Greek food (and a few Swedish earworm hits), so we've compiled a few local restaurants to satisfy those cravings.

1. Mina and Dimi's Greek House:

At Mina and Dimi's Greek House (7159 W. US Hwy 90, 210-674-3464), on San Antonio's westside you can find some delicious desserts. The Longhorn, feature a light crispy phyllo shell that has been baked to a nice golden crisp, has been drizzled with chocolate, and topped with whipped cream and a cherry. That's not even the best part. Inside, the Longhorn is filled with a Greek banana creme, sweet mangos and banana slices.
