Rick and the group find a bunch of cannibals, which is just what you need when you're trying to escape dead people that eat humans. They try to get to Washington, D.C., to get a scientist to make his cure, but their ride breaks down and the whole cure thing turns out to be a lie anyway.
They come upon a safe zone that seems promising, despite the inexplicably untrustworthy priest. Carol keeps doing what she's got to do to survive, which includes threatening a child. The safe zone turns out to be in danger from a rival community that keeps walkers as pets. Rick keeps going crazier and crazier, and straight up murders a guy in front of everyone.
