Taco Cabana Is Turning 40 with Block Party at Original Location

Oh, Lordy look who's 40!

Taco Cabana is celebrating its four decades of fast-casual Tex-Mex with a blowout block party on Friday, September 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. The original location off San Pedro will shut down its parking lot, drive-thru and surrounding areas to make room for a large stage that will feature an entire lineup of entertainment including live performances by Campanas De America, folklorico dancers from the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, and local band Volcán.

Also, on that same evening, guests across San Antonio can join the fun and enjoy a night of games, karaoke and mariachi performances at the following TC 40th Birthday Patio Parties: 6867 New Hwy 90, 6040 Bandera, 4335 Thousand Oaks, and 12731 IH 10 West.

Per a press release, the event "will also have a large party tent for seating and lounging, a mini TC restaurant to provide food/drinks, giant games, chalk art, prizes and much more."

The party will kick off a month-long celebration of all things TC with throwback Thursday specials, pins and lots of taco duos.
