Team Behind Green, Earth Burger Opens Bok Choy

Lion & Rose British Restaurant & Pub has a new neighbor these days.

Chef Mike Behrend and mom Luann Singleton are back at it with new restaurants. Known for opening Green Vegetarian Cuisine and Earth Burger, Behrend and co. are now adding Bok Choy, a plant-based Asian eatery in the heart of Alamo Heights.

Located at 5310 Broadway, Bok Choy features sides and apps including rather tasty fresh summer rolls, cheese rangoons, garlic snow peas ranging ($2-$5) and entrees including a Good Pho You Bowl, BBQ beef bun, River City Ramen and sweet and sour chik-n ($9-$13).

The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and closed Saturday.
