I hate waiting. I especially hate waiting for cookies, but like most Girl Scout cookie-obsessed humans, I'll have to wait until next year to get my hands on the latest from all those mini boss girls.
To celebrate the centennial anniversary of the Girl Scout Cookie Program, the largest girl-led business on the globe (side note: who run the world?), the organization is introducing a new s'mores cookie during the 2017 cookie season. The sandwich cookie will feature creamy chocolate and marshmallow fillings.
Coincidentally, campfire must-have s'mores were first introduced in the 1927 Girl Scout Handbook, so really it's all coming full circle.
If you can't wait to eat s'mores and would rather not mess with packing up a tent and all that mess, you can enjoy s'mores at Halcyon, Piatti (both of which you can fire up your own using a mini hibachi grill), Chocollazo (which carries s'mores on-the-go), Delice Chocolatier (which carries them in cookie form) and Grayze, which offers s'mores in a jar for dessert.
