The low-down on this week's premieres - Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Shark Boy, the Honeymooners, and the Holy Girl

Sharing the most common of all surnames, Brad Pitt (Fight Club) and Angelina Jolie (Girl, Interrupted) star as assassins in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Smith is only the alias of deadly husband-and-wife duo John and Jane, who have been hired to kill each other. Imagine fighting over credit-card debt with a sniper rifle in hand.

After a bombardment of horror films from Asia in the past few years, in peeks a severed head from France in High Tension `see review`. Marie (Cécile De France) hopes to spend a quiet evening in the country; instead she witnesses an insane truck driver butchering her friend's family. With her gal pal taken hostage by the horrendous hick, Marie must attempt to take control of the situation before she becomes another blood-soaked victim.

Speaking of brutality ... after the cannibalism in Sin City, director Robert Rodriguez (Desperado) decides to tone it down again for the kids with The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D `see review`. San Antonio-born Rodriguez credits his then 6-year-old son with the screenplay. Rodriguez, who has four sons and another baby on the way, is building his own filmmaking empire.

We're not sure if Cedric the Entertainer (Man of the House) can utter the phrase "To the moon Alice!" as well as Jackie Gleason, but he'll sure take a shot at it in The Honeymooners, based on the 1955 television series of the same name.

Imagine the 2003 film The School of Rock as a documentary, Jack Black's eccentric teacher as a real person, and a truckload of vulgarities aimed at children and you've got Rock School.

Straight from Argentina, The Holy Girl follows 16-year-old Amalia (María Alché) as she tries to save the soul of a would-be adulterer.
