America, the band, not where we live.

Sponsored by one-time oldies station KONO 101.1 FM (which has now gravitated towards '70s and even '80s music, begging the question, "What exactly is an oldie?"), America, the long-haired, feel-good group behind such hits as "A Horse With No Name," "Ventura Highway" and "Sister Golden Hair" will be bringing their peaceful, easy vibes to the Tobin Center this summer.

The group that recently celebrated 45 years together is scheduled to provide a night chocked full of alligator lizards, falling stars, golden hair surprises and nameless ponies on Saturday, July 2 at 8pm. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday, February 12 at 10am and can be purchased at the box office, online at tobincenter.org or by calling (210) 223-8624, and are priced at $34.50-$100.

See you wavy babies there. 'Til then, keep on truckin' and all that shit.
