The Suffers will perform at Échale on September 6

Originally planned for Memorial Day, the May floodwaters pushed the Pearl's Échale series deep into the summer. On September 6, the Pearl returns with its free Latin music block party, featuring sets from The Suffers, Los Crema Paraiso, Bombasta and Chulita Vinyl Club.

From Houston, The Suffers bring a big band attitude to Southern soul. Before Letterman strolled into the sunset of retirement, the ten-piece Houstonians managed a thrilling performance on The Late Show. Over an undeniable rhythm and popping horn section, singer Kam Franklin commands The Suffers' energy and demands audience attention.
