Josh of the Josh Glenn Experiment has a cover of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” that might be the best cover of any song ever covered by anyone... ever. Seriously, though. It’s soulful, curious and perfectly translates the spirit in which the song was written – not an easy feat for your average singer-songwriter.
But Josh Glenn isn’t that. He braids acoustic guitar strums, percussive guitar taps and clever riffing, and he usually builds his songs using loop pedals for an engrossing experience. If you haven’t seen Josh Glenn perform live, are you even a local San Antonian?
