Gary Clark Jr. delivers masterful performance at Sam's

OK, guys, sorry. Next time, I promise I'll bring a camera instead of a phone and I'll make sure I shoot properly. But even though this video sounds like crap, I wanted to give you an idea of what you missed in case you didn't go to Sam's Burger Joint last night. Austin's Gary Clark Jr. proved once again he's the real deal (all the hype is well-founded), and opening act Catherine Denise (SA's own) kicked ass again. For as long as there are musicians like her living here, the San Anto music scene won't suck, and I don't care what anybody says. It was a spectacular sold out show on a Wednesday night. Credit goes to Sam's and the SA Blues Society. Serbia's Ana Popovic plays tonight and Carolyn Wonderland tomorrow. But first you gotta see and hear (sort of) Gary Clark Jr.'s rendition of B.B. King's 'Three O'Clock Blues' last night at Sam's. (Enrique Lopetegui)
