Having grown up in one of America's most-famous families, Janet Jackson is engrained in U.S. pop culture.
She first took the stage in 1974 in Las Vegas as part of the Jackson family's act, and the rest is history.
San Antonio lands in the second leg of her Unbreakable World Tour. Tickets for the January 21, 2016 show go on sale July 20.
"Janet has been listening to her fans and their overwhelming response to both her new music and her tour," according to a press release.
Tickets will probably go fast, but fans who pre-order the album on JanetJackson.com will receive pre-sale access to premium seating at 10 a.m. on July 14 until 10 .m. July 19 — before tickets are available to the public.
"Janet is very appreciative of everyone who purchases tickets, but also wants to thank the fans that purchase her music with a special enhanced experience at the show. Janet, believes that music is the livelihood of not only the artist but also songwriters, studio musicians, back-up singers, producers, editors, engineers, stage hands, road crew, tour managers and more," according to a press release. "By purchasing music, fans are showing their support for the industry as a whole, and for everyone involved in bringing music to life both in the studio and live on tour."
American Express card holders can also purchase tickets before the general public during the same timeframe.
The second leg of the tour follows a 39-date Unbreakable World Tour that starts this summer.
