SA duo Lonely Horse just released the music video for "My Desert Son," the title cut from their debut LP due out in 2015. Billed as a short film, "My Desert Son" follows los Lonely boys as they do spooky things around town and feed eggs to a calico cat.
Directed by SA videographer Jacob Walker, "My Desert Son" is one of the first glimpses of the long-awaited LP. Recorded early last year at the Sonic Ranch studio outside El Paso, LH's label Nouveau Riche has been sitting on the album, looking for a proper home for distribution.
This new taste promises that the wait should be worth it. Nick Long and Travis Hild pound on decaying guitar and and a rumbling kit, as Long's vocals crash around like ghosts in the night.
