First of all ...

It’s not everyday that we get a rap legend like Snoop Dogg in our neck of the woods, but even rarer is when rappers or celebrities in general come to kick it with, get this, a local youth football team.

But that’s exactly what happened Wednesday night after his sold out show at the Aztec Theatre when the “Gin and Juice” rapper paid a visit to the SA Outlaws. The team came back from San Jose, California just last week after winning their youth football league’s National Championship defeating, ironically, Snoop’s own Carson Colts.

Smoke BBQ Brew hosted the Outlawz to congratulate the youngsters and owner Adrian Martinez invited the rapper to talk to the kids.

"We have been fortunate to have several celebrities come our way," Martinez said. "Next to Cedric the Entertainer, Snoop is a class act, he was extremely friendly and took the time to address the crowd."

Also, if you didn’t know, the football team has its own celebrity status as they are nationally-known for their appearance in the reality TV show Friday Night Tykes.

Just when you thought you couldn’t love a rapper any more, Snoop does some adorable shit like this. Awwwww!
