The Wallflowers, Ghostland Observatory, and more at the Alamodome Oct. 6

(ALT) Universe Music Festival, a mammoth event presented by LiveIn210, will take place at the Alamodome on October 6. Music starts at 4 p.m. (doors at 3 p.m.). Confirmed bands are The Wallflowers (Jakob Dylan's band), Ghostland Observatory, The Joy Formidable (Wales), Wavves (the project of San Diego's Nathan Williams), Nobody Beats the Drum (Netherlands), and San Antonio's own Girl in a Coma and Education (more bands to be announced at a later time).

Tickets are $39 (VIP options available) and will be on sale August 31. More details at altuniversefestival.com.
