Or at least you can't help but wonder why you're wondering in the first place.

background dancers and pyrotechnics. With ticket prices ranging from $39.50 to $62.50, there had better be.

The Black Eyed Peas will open for the ambitiously blond pop stars. This may come as a surprise to fans of the Native Tongue-influenced hip-hop group, but it's so 1996 to label the Peas as corporate puppets. Although they have done their share of sappy soda commercials and MTV appearances, the Peas can still deliver the live goods.

If you can't stomach Timberlake's boyish good looks and Michael Jackson moves or that dirrty slut Xtina, then catch the Peas the night before at La Zona Rosa in Austin, where they will be sharing the bill with a much more likely talent, K-Otix. •
