Yummy AF: Treat Yourself to CupcakKe When She Hits San Antonio

These past few months, while you were obsessing over feuds between Nicki and Cardi, between Iggy and Bhabie, you should have probably been vigorously nodding your head to the hard-slappin’, femme-power-grabbin’, no-punch-pullin’ badassery that is CupcakKe.

Whether you have been paying attention or not, CupcakKe has been going hard for a minute now. The 21-year-old rapper has dropped four albums and two mixtapes since 2016, including two fire albums, Euphorize and Eden, this year alone. So, whenever you stop watching that TMZ trash and decide to check out some real shit, you gotta turn to ya girl CupcakKe for the frosty bars and bad bitch lessons.

Seriously: her flows are strong, commanding in terms of technical density and radical intensity, and her message is freedom, self-love, and reclamation. WTF is not to love?

On Saturday December 2, the young Chi-town rapper will be in town for a can’t-miss show at Paper Tiger. If you, like us, have been wanting more robust, sex positive, bombastic feminism in your rap music, don't sleep on this yummy CupcakKe. Her shows are uplifting, wild and, generally speaking, probably way more engaging than anything your favorite rapper has ever done.

(Full disclosure: Current music writer Chris Conde will be among the openers for this show.)
