Charles Manson is Dead
California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation
You either die young, or you live long enough to etch a Swastika into your forehead. That is if your name is Charles Manson, who just died Sunday at the age of 83.

Manson gained worldwide notoriety for orchestrating the cult killings in California in 1969, but he began a career of petty crimes almost a decade earlier by way of Laredo, Texas.

Around 1959-1960, Manson fled to Mexico following charges of prostitution in California. According to a 1960 article from the Laredo Times, he was expelled from Mexico to Laredo, being described by Mexican officials as an "undesirable alien."

Manson was extradited to California a few days after his relocation to Laredo on June 7, 1960.
