Let’s be honest: These are the dog days for San Antonio music. But that means we just have to look a little further to find a new or interesting band. Consider the Child Bite show at the Ten Eleven. Their sound at first “screamos” electro-clash, but they’re more interesting than that. They record on the Joyful Noise label, which is a pretty accurate description of their sound. They have an anarchic quality that isn’t destructive, but rather something closer to the odd energy of the Dadaists.
