Steve Kerr has led the Golden State Warriors to their first NBA Championship victory.

Former Spurs player and current Head Coach of the Golden State Warriors Steve Kerr has led his team to their first NBA Finals victory in 40 years. The Game 6, 105 - 97 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers makes Kerr a six-time NBA Champion, five as a player, including two with the San Antonio Spurs in 1999 and 2003, and one as a rookie head coach for the Oakland-based NBA team.

Now we know. Congratulations, Kerr, on the Championship win.

In other NBA news, today marks the 39th anniversary of the San Antonio Spurs as an NBA team.
