Services were announced for Erin Popovich, the wife of Spurs coach Gregg Popovich. Although the memorial will take place in Colorado and is not open to the public, there's still ways to show your support to the Popovich family and Spurs community.
Following Erin's death on April 18, her obituary was printed in Sunday's edition of the San Antonio Express-News. Erin, who was married to Coach Pop for more than 40 years, "took great pride in the Spurs success and being part of the Spurs family," according to the obituary.
Erin, 67, had been living with an unknown illness for years.
While the May 18 services in Colorado Springs are just for friends and family, San Antonians and Spurs fans alike can express their condolences by donating to the CHEST Foundation or ThriveWell Cancer Foundation of San Antonio.
